Today we learned a bit about Charles Darwin and his scientific discoveries. We had a productive work day finding definitions for the terms related to Darwin's work: species, fossils, adaptations, evolution, natural selection, and variation. Remember we define species and fossils on page 130, adaptations and evolution on page 131, and natural selection and variation on p. 132 using the three column note strategy used in Kelner's classes (only THIS time add illustrations!). We will continue to support the analysis part of your definitions Monday (IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY YOU CAN CATCH UP MONDAY). If you need or want to explore more about variation and natural selection you may want to explore THIS AMAZING WEBSITE.
Your "Nature at Work" labs were collected today... make sure you answer #1-3 (save #4 for later!)...
