You will be happy to know I scored 15/15... how will you do??? TAKE THE QUIZ NOW!!!
Summer is here... but questions abound no matter the time of year! Check in with my blog every now and again over summer... I don't update every day but I will update with funny things and videos (science doesn't take a vacation ya know?!?!). Remember to apply sunscreen often and liberally this summer. Be safe kids!!!
Next two days of school all about just being together!!! Remember SUNSCREEN tomorrow!!!! One more vid:
Today we had fun playing "Life in the Balance" which illustrated how populations can be affected positively and negatively by abiotic, biotic, and human interactions. Natural populations aren't always level... they jump up and down in flux! Monday we will take our final SWYK of the year and then academics are DONE!!! Yay!!!
Well... sorry to break your hearts but the print shop had an issue and didn't get my Nemo packets printed. Guess we just enjoyed the movie without pushing science all over it :) For those of you who WANT to do the work YOU CAN PRINT A PACKET AND TURN IN TO THE BASKET MONDAY! For those of you who don't want any more work just keep on keeping on! Tomorrow we shall look at the balance of populations. Monday is the final SWYK of the year! Tuesday a bit of cleaning to do then Woodland water park and Wednesday done!
Today we continued our study of ecological interactions deep in the sea (watching Finding Nemo!). We had a mixup with the printer so the packet isn't ready yet... tomorrow we shall finish the work!!! Friday we explore Life in the Balance and Monday is the final life science SWYK of the year!!! Water park Tuesday and then done!
KMS Science Teacher
Most science pictures I post are found from assorted Facebook science pages... too numerous to cite specifically and downloaded for "just the right time"... I am sorry for the poor citation example I am setting.
In addition the archives are primarily from my days as a ONLY a life science teacher ... 2020 has changed all that!
