Today we had the opportunity to review the functions and structures of the body systems we've learned thus far. Next week Ms. Hunt will take control of the teaching of the Nervous System. (The nervous system controls the body so it seems fitting for her to take control of that system! 😉) IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY check for any missing work in Google Classroom.

Today we wrapped up math SBAC testing in the morning and finished our human body systems work in the afternoon. IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you will find your lesson in Google Classroom. Tomorrow is a review/catch up day (unless you are a track star). Next week we finish the Human Body unit!  Today we had a 'diarrhea paced' lesson on the digestive system! IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you will find your replacement work in Google Classroom.  Today periods 2, 3, and 4 discussed the respiratory system. IF YOU MISSED THOSE CLASSES be sure to check Google Classroom for the work. No make up work from me for SBAC time.  Today we learned about the circulatory system (AKA Cardiovascular System). IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you can check Google Classroom for your absence work that will post once your class 'teachers' have finished the lesson. Make sure to make up any missed human body work!
Today we explored the tissues of a chicken wing through dissection! Pretty fun to see the skin, muscle, and bones working together after we spent the week learning about those body systems! IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you could check out HOW TO DISSECT A CHICKEN WING &/or you could ask your folks to order some bone-in wings for dinner and examine the tissues in your food! Otherwise there is nothing to make up for today (IF you still need to finish any missing human body work from this week, then you should do that work!)  Today we learned about the skeletal system. IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you can check Google Classroom for your absence work that will post once your class 'teachers' have finished the lesson. Be sure to know all about skin, muscles, and bones so you can have a more successful chicken wing dissection tomorrow!
Today we had a 'Got All My Assignments' day for team Equinox as we enter the midterm mark of our final trimester together! IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you missed out on time to finish work as well as a treat to celebrate this mid-term milestone. Oh well.  Today we learned about the muscular system and the 3 types of muscles. IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you can watch the videos below and copy/paste THESE NOTES on the next available page in your notebook! Be sure to get all missing work finished up TONIGHT so you can enjoy tomorrow!
