Today was a productive day to get work done (or a relaxing day for most). Enjoy your break kids! See you next year (haha). IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY I'd check Powerschool for what's missing and do it!
Today we explored the opposite processes of photosynthesis and respiration. All atoms/elements are simply broken apart and rearranged! We also explored how energy is released when oxygen isn't present (it's called fermentation... and it's a very helpful process). IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY print THESE NOTES and add them to your notebook on page 72. Tomorrow is a catch up incentive day for work. Today we explored the process of cellular respiration which releases energy stored during photosynthesis and is the exact OPPOSITE of photosynthesis! IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you will need to print or copy THESE NOTES ON RESPIRATION (attach to p. 70). Tomorrow we will explore the cycling of energy!
Today we explored the process of photosynthesis. For the past few weeks we have discussed how energy moves through ecosystems. Now we are exploring the energy processes in detail. IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you will need to print or copy THESE NOTES ON PHOTOSYNTHESIS (attach to p. 68). Tomorrow we will explore how energy is released from the glucose molecules (cellular respiration). |
