Today we used assorted chocolate chips to represent atoms of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen and discovered just how the two energy equations of photosynthesis and respiration are opposites of each other! Fun (and delicious). We also discussed fermentation (if you missed class you can PRINT THESE NOTES and put them on page 93 of your notebook AND add the answers to the p. 53 End of Section Questions 2 a, b, and c to yesterday's respiration questions). Finally, we turned in our notebooks for a midterm notebook check. Monday we will check planners, review the energy processes with a lab, and prepare to act like a plant cell!
KMS Science Teacher
Most science pictures I post are found from assorted Facebook science pages... too numerous to cite specifically and downloaded for "just the right time"... I am sorry for the poor citation example I am setting.
In addition the archives are primarily from my days as a ONLY a life science teacher ... 2020 has changed all that!
