Today we collected our stuf measurements in order to find out if Double Stuf Oreos actually have double the stuf of a regular Oreo cookie. We will continue analysis of the data tomorrow and begin writing our conclusions. Tonight you may need to review variables for the retest SWYK tomorrow. Some of you still need to "turn in" your Tootsie conclusions... sure is helpful to have feedback before we do another conclusion for the Oreo lab! IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you will get your data tomorrow.
IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you will need to login to MY google classroom to dissect your CEAL. Join the classroom for your period and follow the instructions. Happily you can work at home to catch up OR jump on a computer during HomeBase, after school, or at lunchtime when back to school tomorrow. We will have the Chromebooks on Wednesday BUT we will only spend some of the period finishing loose ends.
Today we had the opportunity to wrap up vocabulary work (observation, inference, variables, question, and hypothesis); we reviewed the scientific method and variables once again; we turned in any missing CRACKING THE METHOD worksheets; and we took a quick SWYK on variables work. IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY you may come during HomeBase study hall to take the SWYK and you can update your glossary with the terms from last week (observation, inference, variables, question, and hypothesis). Tomorrow we will dissect our Tootsie Pop conclusion... and we will do the Oreo lab later this week! |
