These next few days are for YOU to do the work with notes on plant reproduction (seed plants). Gymnosperms pages 146-150 and Angiosperms pages 151-157. If you are pacing yourself do one each day... Tuesday will be review of the life cycles!
Remember any missing Termite Labs need to be in the red basket waiting for me on Tuesday afternoon... no excuses!
P.S. here is another article looking at GM foods...
Always feel free to ask Kelner his take on GMO's (you KNOW he has an opinion!)
Our shift in science study is for pollination and the plant life cycle (notes and videos coming up).
If you are in periods 1, 3, or 4 you need to finish your GMO research! Class discussion is tomorrow.
ALL class periods need to finish Termite Labs if not yet done!!! Mr. Hornby says Saturday school on May 11th is wide open for seats!
Bees are great pollinators, but also fall prey to the GMO issue as well... here is an article about GMO's and bees. (maybe you have more to add to your T-chart now?!?)
KMS Science Teacher
Most science pictures I post are found from assorted Facebook science pages... too numerous to cite specifically and downloaded for "just the right time"... I am sorry for the poor citation example I am setting.
In addition the archives are primarily from my days as a ONLY a life science teacher ... 2020 has changed all that!
