 You are expected to have your outline completed as you walk in on Monday. Don't be a blood sucking parasite to your group! If you have forgotten the expectations download the directions (You need to discuss function, structures, problems, and a Giant in Science in proper outline form!).
Monday will be work time with your groups to plan your lesson! (how about a sleeping bag like this one for your next camping trip!?!?)

Here is an interesting view into the changes of the body organization during metamorphosis of caterpillar to butterfly... WATCH THIS. Today we begin the understanding of body systems...

PS we will start the Human Body project tomorrow... do you have a preferred system you would like to study? You will choose between skin, skeletal, digestive, respiratory, excretory, and circulatory... I call dibs on nervous!  Oh the requests are rolling in! Here is our favorite rap once again!
Track stars did you make sure to get the notes AND watch the Ted-Ed? You need to review levels of organization from cells on up... Tissue dissection tomorrow... CHICKEN WINGS! Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Arthropoda; Class Insecta... look out for the cicadas! Read on... 
 For all you track stars... you will be missing THIS Ted-ed covering the organization of living things. It should seem familiar to the continuum we have discussed.
We will also be discussing organization of HUMANS and you will need to copy these notes (or print for your notebook). We will look at the tissues of a chicken wing on Wednesday. 
PS it could also be a question you get from your science teacher that is a mom too!
 I will be checking notes for Gymnosperms p. 146-150 and Angiosperms p. 151-157 tomorrow (also the venns comparing the two from Tuesday's classwork).
Tomorrow is test day. Know your plant life cycle stages vocabulary to support your answers. Can you discuss seed germination, vascular tissues, photosynthesis, flower structures, pollination, fertilization, fruit formation AND seed dispersal? You should be able to! The difference between knowledge and wisdom? Knowledge says a tomato is a fruit and wisdom says don't use tomatoes in a fruit salad! This is worth a chuckle too... WATCH  Tomorrow is another day to turn in your Termite Labs and other missing work... will you?  Graded on the plane and it is all entered in... if you see a zero or "missing" it is because I don't have it! Make sure to complete your work by Tuesday... red basket! For those of you who want to see a cool way to genetically modify plants WATCH THIS
